Hi, I’m a Registered Nutritional Therapist specialising in fertility based in Manchester, but work with clients all over the UK and overseas - I help couples and single women to optimise their fertility through diet and lifestyle to help them get pregnant and have the healthy baby they didn’t think was possible.

My story
I am of Filipino and Colombian descent and because of my heritage my whole life has revolved around my two passions - family and food. My childhood memories are of huge family gatherings revolving around food. I’ve always been interested in nutrition. My mum is from the Philippines and she’s always had a holistic approach to health and wellness, which has influenced me. (She was making me lemon, ginger and turmeric tea, waaaay before it even became a thing).
I have early memories of family holidays to the Philippines and grazing my knee. Rather than heading to a pharmacy to get medicine it would be a scramble to an aloe vera plant to help soothe the injury. From an early age I learnt how powerful plants and food can be to heal the body.
I studied Nutritional Therapy for three years at the College of Naturopathic Medicine with a year focused on the biochemistry of the body and 200 clinical hours attained before gaining my qualification. I am a member of BANT, which means I have to continuously attend training to ensure I am up to date with the latest studies and research. I am also a certified fertility specialist having undergone training with the Fertility Nutrition Centre as part of my commitment to attaining the highest standards of knowledge and competence in the practice of evidence based nutritional therapy for fertility.

So what is Nutritional Therapy, and how can it help me? I hear you ask.
Nutritional Therapy applies a science-based approach, using nutrition to promote individual health. When working with you I will look at the body as a whole, with the aim to get to the root cause of the issue rather than just focusing on the symptom. Diagnostic testing such as urine, blood or saliva samples may also be used to determine individual nutrient status and identify potential imbalances.
Through in-depth questionnaires I will look at your genetics, family history, hormones, mindset and lifestyle and environmental factors. From there I will formulate a tailor-made plan for you which we will work together on over a 12-week period. I will work alongside any medical professionals within your care to ensure we maximise your chances of a successful pregnancy.

My favourite way to relax would be a glass of wine, in a hot bath with a face mask, but I actually dream about this more than I do it.
I’m a home bod. I partied in my 20s but now love nothing more than chilling with my husband on the sofa, Netflix and equally portioned out snacks between us.
New York is my favourite city in the world and where I got married
I have two longed for children.
There’s nothing better than dinner, drinks and belly ache laughs with my friends.
